More good days.
More of you.
Hi, I'm Kat
I’m a positive psychology coach and educator, with a background in leading people and teams in healthcare.
I help people who carry a lot, at work and in life, feel more like themselves, find what actually makes them happy, and build lives that feel good to live.

My story began when ...
I realised I was sleepwalking through my own life.
Everything looked fine on the outside,
but I was putting everyone else first and avoiding what I really wanted.
It felt safer to play small, because I wouldn't have to face failing.
But the longer I did, the more numb things became.
And I knew that wasn’t how I wanted my life to feel.
This work matters to me
I love this work because I get to see what changes when people start to not only believe in themselves, but feel more like themselves again.
When they notice what’s already working.
When they get clear on what they actually want.
When they stop holding back and start showing up more as themselves.
But more than that, I care about people knowing that mindset, habits and behaviour isn’t fixed.
The way we think, feel and respond isn’t set in stone.
With the right support, we can shift how we experience our work, our lives, and ourselves.
That’s what positive psychology gave me — an understanding that change is possible, and the tools to actually do something with that.
Now it feels important to me, to pass that on.

My background
Alongside coaching, I’ve been a qualified nurse for 17 years, with over a decade spent in leadership roles across the healthcare sector, supporting the development of people, teams and education.
I’ve worked at organisational, regional and national level, including as Chair of the UK Clinical Nurse Educator Network.
I’m a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and I’m trained as a PASEDA360 Advanced Practice Positive Psychology Coach.
What that means in practice is this, the work I do is grounded in evidence, shaped by real-world experience, and designed to create change that actually lasts.
Because ‘fine’ isn’t the same as feeling good and life is too short to spend most of it just getting through.
Fun Facts

I once took part in the world’s largest custard pie fight at the Millennium Dome… which definitely gives away my age.
I hunt down reduced plants in the garden centre to rescue and bring back to life!

I have a soft spot for leopard print and polka dots, if it’s got either, I’ll probably love it.
